  1. Work Profile:-

 

The Public Health Engineering Department is the nodal department for providing safe and clean drinking water to the community through Piped Water Supply and Spot source schemes as per feasibility. The PHED implementing Water Supply Scheme  underNRDWP,NWQSM, Niti Aayog etc. the Central Sector Schemes, as well as SOPD State Plan. Apart from these Flouride & Arsenic mitigation schemes are also undertaken. Presently, the PHED is implementing the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) from 2020-21 where every household is to be covered by Tap connection for providing 55 LPCD of pure drinking water.

 

In sanitation sector Individual House Hold Latrine (IHHL), Community sanitary Complex (CSC) have been constructed under Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin (SBM-G) including solid and waste management.
