Work Profile

1. Extension and development of Sericulture  activities in the district.
2. Work with collaboration of district Administration for development of Seri.  Farmers Family.
3. Drawing and disbursing of salary and non salary bills.
4. Well management of Fund received and implementation of central and state Schemes.
5. Management of farms- centers and staff under the establishment.

1. Eri Cut cocoon production raised up to       468 Mt.
2. Muga Raw silk production raised up to        8.0 Mt.
3. Mulberry Raw silk production raised up to  4.15 Mt.
4. Average 100/120 Nos. people assisted by departmental schemes per year.

• Integrated Scheme for development of Eri silk industry in Aspirational district Baksa under NERTPS.
• Integrated Eri silk development  project for sustainable livelihood to women of BTR through Tapioca Plantation under NERTPS.
• SAMARTH Capacity building and Skill development Training for  Silk  Sector
